When your heart beats,
And it's your minds own race,
and you can't help but swallow,
And sweat runs down your face.

When it's late at night,
And it's all so quiet,
And your brain screams,
You were too fat for that diet.

When you look up to the ceiling,
And wonder if this is needed,
You look back down at your wrist,
With the dirty deed you proceeded.

When you feel the same,
Warm liquid running down your skin,
The same as running through your veins,
You're broken within.

But the thing is,
All you have to do is put on a smile,
And everyone thinks you're happy,
At least for a little while.

They don't notice the cuts, bruises,
That lie on your body,
They don't notice,
Because you are nobody.

If anyone is struggling with depression and just needs someone to talk to just message me. This isn't something you should have to go through alone and self-harming is NOT a good way out. I understand why people choose to but please message me and stop hurting yourself. You're all too beautiful to hurt yourselves.
