Another Picture of Cam :) mmmmm -->
I bounced lightly on my chair as I waited for the time to hurry by. It was Friday and my parents were back. And unfortunately that meant that Trinity was back also.
We were gathered around the dinner table eating tacos. James got to pick out what the dinner was and like a typical boy he picked tacos. I put a smile on my face as I they pulled up and tried not to show Trinity how annoyed I was with her.
I was itching to see Marc again. I spent the best week of my life with him. Sleeping in his arms every night, talking, laughing, and kissing. Waking up next to him has been pure heaven. But now that my parents were back we had to be careful. I knew they were still suspicious and who knew what Trinity has been telling them all week.
So we agreed that for this week we will have to sleep at our houses. A full week away from each other, feels like torture to me. It was going to be hard getting used to sleeping by myself again, but I'll get used to it eventually.
School has been getting better. Since Trinity has been gone my 'ex' friends seemed lost and awkward without her. People seemed to switch their topics around so I no longer was talk of the school. My classmates in English seemed to really look at me in a new light. I was no longer just Trinity's shadow, I was Taylor. Just Taylor, finally a real person.
Marc was right. I needed to forgive myself before things get better for me. I found myself smiling all week, and talking to people I normally never would have. If I saw someone looking down I would make sure I would talk to them, to get them to smile. Life without Trinity was nice, for once I felt as if I belong with the school and its people.
But now that Trinity was back I felt as if something happened. Like right when she walked in through the door my world was hit with a mini tsunami wave and it was just going to get worse. She was being distant but polite, she wouldn't talk to me but when she looked at me it was with narrow calculating eyes. She would watch all my moves and seem to watch my wrists. Her eyes showed she was planning something. Something that made shivers crawls up my spine.
James and my parents filled up most of the conversation throughout dinner. They talked business and about how our week was. James would not stop talking about Marc, which just pissed Trinity off even more.
Marc's training was going to start up next week, three times a week. I was excited for him since Basketball season was going to start right after the holidays. But I knew that I was going be seeing less of him, with his work and new schedule it was going to be hard trying to find time for each other. But I knew it was going to be worth it.
"So Taylor, how was school why were gone? You didn't' stay up too late did you?" My mom asked as I finished my dinner.
"It was fine. I got most of my English project done with Liz." I said.
"Marc was here awfully a lot from what I hear. You weren't too distracted were you?" She asked in an offhand way. But I knew Trinity had said something to her.
"Yeah, he would help James out, help cook on some of the nights. But he would get home by eight. He was actually a big help with the project, he read through some of our stuff. You know tweaked it a little, gave us some advice." I said innocently.
"He didn't stay the night did he?" My father asked. I looked up at him in fake surprise. The one thing I loved about my dad was he didn't beat around the bush like my mother was doing right now. He came right out with it, not holding in for him.
"Of course not. He's mom has him on a strict schedule, I told you, he has to be home by eight. I wouldn't do that. And anyways, James would have noticed if he had." I pointed out. I hated lying, but I didn't want to be in the same boat as Trinity. And plus they wouldn't believe me if I told them we didn't do anything like they were most likely thinking.
