Chapter 30

Kellin's POV

Another week flew by, but this one was different. This week, there were no attempts to get my attention, no notes, no conversations about Vic.

Even though I liked the break from all that, I was disappointed that he had given up on me so quickly. Was I really worth so little? Am I that forgettable to him?

I walked out of biology and made my way to my locker, opening it and looking at the mirror in front of me.

I had dark bags under my eyes and I looked worn out. I sighed, realising how happy I used to be with Vic. He saved me. He gave me a new life.

I put my books back in my locker, slamming it behind me before making my way to the cafeteria.

As I was approaching, I heard what sounded like the strumming of guitars.

When I entered, I was greeted with a huge crowd, gathering around something.

I pushed to the front to get a better look at what was going on. After a lot of pushing and shoving, I made it to the front of the crowd but as soon as I got there, I froze.

In front of my were the guys with instruments in their hands.
Mike had a black box thing on his lap, both Jaime and Tony had a guitar, and Vic was sat with a tambourine and a microphone.

"Thank you" Vic smiled into the microphone when he saw me. "That was called Besitos. This next song is dedicated to someone here, someone who I hurt, someone who meant a lot to me." I instantly knew that he meant me.

I fell in love with Vic's voice what seemed like lifetimes ago, but still it brought back all the pent up emotions I had in me.

The lyrics were so beautiful and he was staring at me all the while.
