How yall doing? My Name is Keith and I'm from South Sac. I'm a Leo & yall know we the best. Now long story short I am currently in high school. I attend Parker High. I'm 15 and im going to graduate early next year because I've been good at keeping my straight A's & also I've been drafted from Duke to play. I am pursuing to be a philanthropist. Anyways I am in class right now then suddenly a new student walks in. Everyone's eyes are instantly attracted to her. It was the girl that was standing infront of my locker earlier. She seemed nervous than before when I talked to her. To calm her down I smiled at her. She smiled back.
I always analyze someone's presence and confidence as soon as they step into a room. She seems nervous. I remember my first day. Everyone was picking on me because my legs were thin and they thought I wouldn't make the basketball team. But as soon as I made it everyone had nothing to say. Not the freshmans , not the seniors , nobody. Now everyone trynna get me to hang with them and I'm just not with it. People say I'm soft because I don't drink , smoke or party and fight. To me it's really immature and childish. Also I'm not trynna risk my health to make myself cool.Now believe me I can be fun at times but recently I've started being very cautious. At school I act chill and funny but forreal I am just calm and reluctant. I worry about my life everyday. I just loss my cousin Anthony from a drive by and he was only 13. I don't live where it happened but last week an altercation happened between me and this senior Dante. He kept talking about how I was a bitch from the suburbs and I had no street cred. I tried my best to ignored him until he brought up Anthony and I lost it. He is apart of this gang and he knows where I live. I also just happen to go to school with one of his homies. We proceed with class as the bell rings and I am brought back into reality from my daze.
"Goodmorning Class" Mrs. Hernandez said
Everyone except me greeted her.
"Today , we have joing us a new student from Florida , Miami in fact."
"Um Hello my name is Dasia".
