The very thing every theatre kid dreads. Or, most of us dread it. For me, it's mostly because what if I mess up? I rarely get lead rolls anyway, if I mess up, it's not gonna be any better! Plus, I'm in a small-ish town theatre group. Lots of kids from the schools join the same group, every year. My point is, I've been doing this for years, I have gotten one lead roll. One.
I'm not trying to complain, really. I'm grateful for the secondary rolls I get, but a lead roll would be fun, I think. Although, it depends on the roll.
