A person walking around alone
Has no chance to survive
Don't let hime remain alone
For friendship you must strive
Nobody wants to be in the dark
To be made into a stray by life
Don't let him become a mark
For people who live with strife
Don't let his life be that of a stray
A life where he can't trust anybody
Where the sunshine doesn't give him a ray
Where violence causes him to flee
Don't let him be on his own
Where he can't fend for himself
Get him to live in a home
Before he tries to kill himself
So come to be his friend
So he won't be a stray
You might like him in the end
If you invited him to stay
