A person being turned round and round
Like a puzzle piece that doesn't fit
It belongs but it isn't sound
As it waits around, only to sit
It's part of the bigger picture
But there's no place it fits
And it's starting to learn to fear
As it just stays and sits
This piece has come to learn
That the other pieces don't notice it
This causes it to fill with concern
But it decides it doesn't need to fit
It'll just wait and see how it goes
When it's out here all on its own
It will handle all of life's throws
As it sits and sits all on its own
As it sat on its own for so long
The other pieces of the puzzle understood
They had a picture with something wrong
As they missed the piece all on its own that stood
