3rd Person's POV (12 years later)
Laxus watched from afar as Natsu and Gray once again broke out into a petty fight, others watching the two in amusement while he watched them in distaste. His friends from the Thunder Tribe sat around him in conversation, knowing what today was to him, the day his childhood best friend disappeared. The legend of Calium Teran lived on in Fairy Tail to the younger generations, but to the older ones it was all to real of who the little boy was to the guild. Calium was a kind individual and mostly quiet child to outsiders, but not towards the people he cared about dearly. With a kind heart and positive mind, along with his short stature, he had spirit in his red eyes whenever he needed to defend his family, Fairy Tail. To Laxus, Natsu reminded him a lot of Calium with their views of the world and protective over the name of the guild and it's members, only while Calium stayed calm and thought over a situation, Natsu dove head in without a second thought. Laxus was pulled out of his thoughts when Erza Scarlet broke up the fight by slamming their heads together with no mercy, clearly irritated by the two's shenanigans. Sitting down at the table not far from the three was one of the newest members of Fairy Tail, Lucy Heartfilia along with Levy Mcgarden, Gajeel Redfox, and Wendy Marvell. Three Exceeds stood on top of the table, watching the scene before them unfold
"Ice Princess!"
"Flame Brain!"
"Pervy Popsicle!"
"Squinty Eyes-!"
"Guys! Shh!" They were suddenly shushed by Warren, silencing the two as he concentrated on the voices flooding his mind
"What is it, Warren?" Jet asked him, flashing to his side. Warren didn't answer him until a few moments later
"East of Magnolia apparently there has been a landslide, it has destroyed ten homes in total."
"Landslide?" Lucy asked him and he nodded in confirmation
"Well, do you know what caused it?" Gajeel asked crossing his arms
"Not as of right now, there isn't much infor-" Warren stopped suddenly, the whole guild going silent as they all felt the presence of powerful magic, dread feeling their beings as their heart rates sky rocketed
"W-What?!"
"T-This Magic..." Were the many sentences being proclaimed throughout the guild hall, not used to this high level of intensity
"Calm down my children, all will be well." Makarov Dreyar stated on top of the bar, sitting cross leg on it and unaffected by the high magical energy
"G-Gramps!" Makarov up at Natsu as he neared him, staggering a bit, "H-How are you not affected by t-this?" The pinkette asked him curiously
"This is nothing to me Natsu, I have been around much more powerful magical energy." Stated the Ten Wizard Saint Member, thinking hard of who the individual causing this was
"Been around?" Lucy asked quietly as she held onto Levy tightly
"As in, they are within Magnolia-"
"I-I have received word!" Warren suddenly announced shakily with his eyes shut tightly
"Tell!" Erza ordered, stalking towards him before hitting the table with her fist, slowly getting used to the magical energy
"The landslide is artificial! It wasn't caused by nature!" Warren informed everyone, a few gasps erupting from the crowd. Laxus's eyes widened, remembering a memory that has happened over 10 years ago. The scene becoming clear as day in his mind. Without warning, the high magical energy disappeared entirely, no trace of where it has gone
