Maggie POV: I walked down the hallway as quietly as I could. There were three more hallways that I had to get through before I reached the front lobby where the exit was. I made it though the next two hallways without a problem. I turned into the final hallway and could see the front lobby right in front of me. I started to walk down it, but then I heard footsteps coming from behind me. There was a linen cart in the middle of the hallway so I ran and hid behind it. I was almost certain that it was the shooter so I tried to stay quiet. "Who's down there?" I heard a man say. It didn't sound like the shooter, but I wasn't about to show any sign that I was there. I heard the click of a gun being cocked. "Police, who's down there?" The voice said. I sighed in relief. "Please don't shoot!" I yelled as I slowly pushed the linen cart out of the way. When the officers saw me they put down their guns and rushed over to me. "Are you ok miss?" "Yes, but my dad! He was shot! Please you have to help him! He is in the cafeteria." One of the officers turned and motioned for a group of the other officers to go to the cafeteria. "Come on, we have to get you out of her." "Have you gotten the shooter yet?" "No not yet, that is why we need to get you out of here." "But wait! What about my sisters and my mom?" "Where are they?" "My younger sister and mom are in the ICU and my older sister was on her way up there." I said. "Ok, we are going to do what we can to get them out, but we need to get you out too so let's go." He said.
