When the girls and I got to the information desk, there was a receptionist there doing something on the computer. "Excuse me." I said. "How may I help you ma'am?" "I need to know if you have any information on my husband. The police officer told us to wait here in the waiting room because he was probably back in the ER. He said that they would come out and tell us when they knew how he was, but we haven't gotten any information yet. Please, we are the only people left in the waiting room. There has got to be some way you can find out something." "I can try my best, what's his name?" "Samuel Timothy McGraw." I said. She type some things into the computer. "I'm sorry but I don't see his name anywhere on the ER registry. But there is one person here who is marked as unidentified." "That might be him! Does it say what they look like?" "It says that he is a white male about 5'8" to 5'10", in his mid to late 40s with brown hair and brown eyes." "That sounds exactly like Tim! Does it say anything about any tattoos?" "No, they left the tattoos and markings section blank, but that could be because they just forgot about it. They have been really busy." "That's ok...can I go see him? The way you described him he sounds exactly like my husband and if he is the only one left that hasn't been identified then it had to be him!" I said. "Hold on just a second and let me check something." She began to type something else into the computer then I watched as her eyes got big and a frown came across her face. "Oh no." She said. "What?" "I'm sorry to say this but...it says here that the unidentified man in the ER was DOA." "What does that mean?" "Dead on arival." I felt like I was going to throw up.
