The Wolves

Cunning as a fox
Wise as an owl
Strong as an ox
Spiritual as a horse
You could only be talking about the great Wolves

They have the biggest heart with the smallest faults
Never back down, always stay together
They act as a family, never alone
And are all the other animals combined

Indians' guides, also their guardians
Never to be used for defeat but for self need
They teach their young
Watch them grow
Into cunning warriors
Of the great Wolves

Big and small, strong and weak
But never have the bitter heart
Blood is pumping through them
Like you and me
But they never go down with defeat
Confident and doubtful as sometimes they are
But they always know the right choices when the right times fall

They are never tricked by the trickster fox
Neither do they bow down to the giant grizzly
They do not stand down when their pack is in danger
They always make it hard for enemies to be braver
When they win or lose they do it as a team
Never have they done it for greed

They friend the owl, respect it because of its wisdom
How it is nocturnal and has wings
Does it earn self greed?
They look at the owl and stare at its huge intelligent eyes
And asks him why the wolves cry
The owl says the spirits of the moon should know
So that night they howled to the moon
And their question was answered by the great spirit of the moon

They respect the great horse
Appaloosa and all
How they are so graceful when they stand tall
With their tail's perked up as they take delicate steps
They are remembering their great ancestors
How spiritual the great horses are with there strong heart
Are respected by the great Wolves with all of their hearts

Wolves are both
Yes strong, weak, confident, spiritual, and wise
Have all the great traits from animals that are as high
With the bear, owl, ox, fox and horse comes great respect from all the wolves
Respect them all because you never know , when your traits of them all, will occur
