Their Eyes

His eyes
Her eyes
Their eyes
Blue, green, brown
And sometimes gold
Each pair of eyes has a soul

Beautiful and innocent
Protective and glistening
Sturdy and delicate
Yet beware of his temper
Don't mess with the pack
And then the eyes won't show anger

Beware of their anger
They are beautiful and delicate
But mess with the family and you'll get one heck of a temper
A female or a male, a pup or an adult
Their eyes show wisdom and gold but can sometimes show anger and protectiveness
Each pair of eyes show a story

Each and every wolf has their own story
You can tell by his actions
You can tell by his heart
But most of all you can tell by his eyes
You can see jealousy, love, anger and sadness
But most of all you can see protectiveness yes be aware

A wolf is honored to protect their family
Even if it cost themselves over their family
The mother's and father's watch their young grow
With pride and acceptance as their young babies grow
They become adults and learn to honor their pack
Brave warriors of their future pack

They stand tall
They heel in grief
But when the pack is in danger
They stand in defense
Never to bow in self defeat
Ready for the intruder to hide in self defense
Their eyes tell a story

Yes, a long or short story
Fear doesn't look them in the eye
Because they look fear in the eye
A wolf can be afraid
A wolf can be sad
But beware a wolf can not be a game

A wolf is a symbol of peace and spirits
A wolf has no intention of getting played
Therefore remember a wolf is not a game
They save lives and they open hearts
Beware of their spirits because they live in a pack, not alone and forever united
Search their eyes

Each pair has a story
You'll never know when they are worried
Learn your lesson
A wolf can teach so much
By the beautiful eyes
It carries much
