II
The first week that you spent working together with Hoseok on the project was far from the trouble you were so worried about. At least, for that moment, you would like to think of it that way.
You had to share the same office to make it easier for you to work together. Which only meant more time for the both of you to see each other daily, and more private moments since people rarely came into the office unless needed for any works regarding to whatever he was in charge of in the company.
Everything else went by on a friendly matter. He was always nice to you and you had always tried to return his friendly gestures with your own, figuring that it would make things easier for both of you if you became friends—good friends, at that—not knowing that those were only the first step of what was about to come.
From your personal experience on handling projects on your own, you had known damn well how hard the first weeks would be. So you tried your best to focus on work, and you were able to keep things professional between the two of you, safe from finding other things coming into your mind aside from work. But it was during those few long weeks when you found yourself learning more about this new Hoseok, the adult Hoseok, the man who was acting as your new partner with a new personality that was totally different from the young persona that lived in your memories.
