I look at Joel and realize he's sweating. "Joel..." I get up and go over to him. My tears fall on his face, and his breathing is becoming rapid. I look to Helen who is just as nervous as I am. I look at him again as everyone starts tearing up again. His heart monitor starts beeping faster and faster. His eyes shoot open. He's just staring at me, at all of us with wide eyes. A puzzled look comes over him as we all start smiling. "What...happened?" his voice is cracking as speaks. I hug him tight, and soon eveyone joins in the hug. We pull away and poor Joel looks so lost. "You're the best big brother ever." Luke says beginning to cry again. "No offense guys" he adds. We all start laughing at that. The doctor comes in "How are you feeling?" he asks Joel. "Pretty good I guess. I've got my family." he answers smiling.
