After you had been admitted out of hospital, Hau, Lillie and Gladion offered to walk you home. Tired, you agreed. Often, you staggered or tripped over small bumps. Gladion would always catch you; if not Hau. The two boys stood on each side of you, while Lillie strode ahead. Finally, after a long walk, you arrived at your house. Hau helped you up the stairs. "Are you sure you'll be okay?" Gladion asked. "For the hundredth time, yes!"you snapped. Gladion chuckled. "So, I'll go now."you said.

GLADION'S POV

I know I like to spend lots of time by myself but when Hau called me and asked to meet up, I couldn"t help but accept. I guess it was because he was the only boy I was friends with.
Except the malasadas.

Hau waved to me from the malasada shop *insert eye roll here*. "Hey Gladion!"he cried, a bit too loudly. Some people turned their heads at him as I approached him. "Could you NOT be so loud?" I hissed. Hau grinned sheepishly.
We sat down after ordering malasadas. "What did you want to talk about?" I asked. "About your crushhh!!" Hau teased in a baby voice. "Hau, I swear to God if you asked Lillie out-" Hau put his finger to my lips. "Hush, Edgelord. I meant your crush on (Y/N)." Hau said as he lifted his finger from my lips, winking. "Who said anything about me having a crush on (Y/N)?" I scoffed. "I'm an EDGELORD." Hau grinned. "What about the way you look at her? And did you really think no one saw you when you kissed (Y/N) on the beach?" Hau poked my nose. I felt anger inside me. "I don't kiss people, nor do I dream about (Y/N)." I seethed. Hau's eyebrows went up. "You DREAM about her?" "NO!"

It was almost midnight. I laid there, on my bed, huffing and panting after carrying Silvally of my bed. Then suddenly my phone buzzed. Eager, I opened my phone to receive a text from (Y/N).
(Y/N): Gladion, I never got a chance to say thanks. For rescuing me. So thanks.
Gladion: Its okay. What did you even do?
(Y/N):....
(Y/N):I tripped over some Sharpedo.
I laughed. Only (Y/N) would do something like that.
(Y/N):You're laughing, aren't you?
Gladion:Tch. You're so clumsy. And no, I wasn't laughing.
(Y/N):You may be an edgelord, but you aren't good at lying.
Gladion: Did I teach you sarcasm?
(Y/N):Ooh, savage. Anyway, good night Gladion.
Gladion: Good night, (Y/N).
I turned off my phone and put it on the bedtable. I smiled to myself.

YOUR POV
The next day, I woke up refreshed and  happy. I opened the door of my room to see Lillie, who rolled her eyes. "Finally! Its 3 in the afternoon! What took you so long?" She sighed. "ITS 3 IN THE AFTERNOON?" I cried. I hurried to get myself dressed. Once i was finished, I sat in front of Lillie, and gave her a bored look. "What?" I asked.
"Your crush." Lillie blurted.
"I don't have a crush." I raised my eyebrow at Lillie, sipping a cup of coffee.
"Oh, do you?" Lillie teased. "But I just wanted you to know I approve of you and Gladion's relationship."
"We are NOT in a relationship!" I cried.
"Oh, isn't it?" Lillie raised her eyebrows. She leaned into my ear. "I saw everything that happened when Gladion put lotion on you." She leaned back out. "Well, I have to go! See you later!" She waved and closed the front door behind her. I sat at the dining table, dumbfounded. Did Lillie really see Gladion kiss me? I blushed at the thought. Suddenly I heard a knock. Expecting it to be Lillie, I opened the door. "Lillie-" I stopped mid-sentence.
Standing in front of my was Gladion, in a grey tank top and jeans, rather than his usual red and black jacket. "I was wondering how you were doing." He grumbled. I hestured for him to come inside as i closed the door. Gladion saw the freshly cooked cookies on the table.

GLADION'S POV
Mother always used to make cookies for me. I had a longing to taste some cookies, so i got one of (Y/N)'s cookies and bit it. "Your  cooking skills are horrible,(Y/N)."
"Well EXCUSE ME who wanted to barge inside and eat my cookies? And besides, you've already finished it." I smirked. I knew I won.
" Why exactly are you here Gladion?" (Y/N) asked, raising an eyebrow. She was dressed in a pink top and some denim shorts. Damn. She was hot.
But I wasn't drooling.

Soon, night came, and still, I stayed at (Y/N)'s house. Maybe I was scared for her.
I heard the beeping of her phone. "(Y/N), you have a message." I called. (Y/N) ran out and grabbed her phone. She read the text out loud. " Hey darling, sorry to bother you but i'm staying at a motel due to work. Love you. Mom." After reading the text, she groaned. "What is it?" I asked.
(Y/N) rolled her eyes. "Haha." She started to head for her room. Urgently, i grabbed her hand. "I'm serious." I stared into her eyes. (Y/N) sighed. "I usually don't like sleeping without somebody else in the house." She admitted. I stared at her. "See? I told you-"
"I'll stay." Those words sealed my fate. (Y/N)'s mouth hung open. "What?" "I said it. I'm staying." I said again. (Y/N) gave me that beautiful smile of hers, before heading to her room. "Thanks."

Sorry for the cliffhanger! But I'm really tired. I'll continue tomorrow on the next part.
Did you like it? I sort of made Gladion different (maybe him after Lusamine's recovery?) so that he would take the "first step". But I can't say I don't like this Gladion.;)
