this one is commonly known throughout twd fandom and i think a lot of fans believe this, i sure as hell do.
the theory is basically that the zombie apocalypse isn't real and that rick is actually imagining everything while he's in a coma. as you all know (if you've seen the show), rick woke up from his coma in the abandoned hospital after being shot by a criminal. some people (including myself) believe that he is still in his coma, that he never actually woke up, that he's just dreaming the end of the world. many believe that the dream will end when he either a) dies in the dream, b) dies in real life or, the most obvious option, c) wakes up from his coma.
i think that this is very believable and wouldn't surprise me if it were true.
