this riverdale theory states that betty was the one who killed jason. you remember back in episode 3 when b & v confronted chuck about his slut shaming bullshit? remember when betty started pouring syrup all over him and thought he was jason, and demanding that he apologize to her because she thought she was polly?
the theory continues on to state that maybe she killed jason and doesn't remember it because she blacked out (much like she did with chuck). and maybe that's why her parents trashed sheriff keller's murder board thingy majigy because they knew betty was the killer and they're just trying to protect her!!!!!!!!
i fuckin believe this so much like it's not that crazy if you think about it. obviously i don't want it to be true because betty is a smol bean who deserves the world but then again, if this is true, then it wouldn't necessarily have been her fault because of the black outs.
