You can't stop thinking about this boy. It eats at you how much you think about this boy. You just met your father for the first time in over a decade and after only 30 minutes of dialogue between the two of you (which was great) you were ALREADY back to thinking about the boy. "Grayson". You said the name over and over again in your head as you gazed out your bedroom window. Your bedroom kinda sucked at the moment. Ripped up wallpaper, an air mattress, and an old wood set were about all you had right now. Your dad hasn't touched your room since you left, so he was planning on remodeling; however, with him being a busy lawyer and all, this is all he was able to do. You didn't care. You had a gorgeous view of the skyline. You pondered when the appropriate amount of time would be to text Grayson. His new contact had been open on your phone for at least 20 minutes. You just kinda stared at it, gaining the courage to push that button. You're fear of missing this opportunity outweighed that of blowing it, so you finally push that green button. It rings, and with each ring you grow more nervous, but you can't back out now. "Hello?" Thank god he answered. Your heart just about springs out of your chest. "Hey, it's me, from the plane." "Oh! (Y/n) wasn't it?" He remembered! "Yeah, I figured you'd want to know I got your little message." "Yeah..." he sounds embarrassed "Sorry I couldn't flirt with you to your face.... I'm a big wuss around pretty girls." EEEEEK! You about do a backflip "It's not a big deal, I suck at this stuff too" Why would you tell him that?! "Well, I may be bad at asking for numbers, but I can make decent plans. I know this pizza place that you'll love...pick you up at 6 tomorrow?" Grayson just asked you on a date. You almost scream yes at him. "Um sure! I'll text you my address!" "Great....See ya tomorrow" He hangs up and you grab the nearest blanket and scream into it. What have you gotten yourself into? 😉
