Chapter 5: Missing
Ilang araw ang nakalipas at mas lalo kaming naging busy sa school. Sobra sobrang effort ang ibinibigay namin para sa Musical Play. Kakatapos lang namin mag practice kanina.
"Casey, pagkatapos mong kumain pumunta kana agad sa gym" ani Tracy at umalis.
Pinagpatuloy ko ang pagkain. Pagod na ako kahit na kalahating araw pa lang ang nagugugol ko sa school.
"Asaan ang damit mo?" lumapit si Eunice saakin. She's now wearing a floral dress and a stiletto.
I smiled at her. "Nasa paper bag" nginuso ko ang paper bag na nasa aking gilid.
Kinuha niya ito at tinignan ang laman. Mag kakaroon kami ng pictorial para sa gagawing poster sa musical play. Mag fi-film pa kami ng teaser at gusto nila itong i-post upang mapanood ng lahat. Ito ang naging plano nila para i-promote ang musical play namin.
"Magbihis ka na dali" excited na sabi niya at hinila ako patayo sa aking upuan.
Umiling na lang ako. Paglabas namin ay pinagtinginan na agad kami ng mga tao. I avoided their gaze. I looked at Eunice who's smiling brightly. Ngumisi ako. She really loves attention.
Eunice helped me with my clothes. I'm really thankful that she's with me right now. She's outside the cubicle, waiting for me.
"I don't want to go outside" I said as I finished fixing myself. Inilugay ko ang buhok ko sa pagkakatali.
I heard her smirk. "Dali na!" aniya.
Pinasadahan kong muli ang aking suot at lumabas na din pagkatapos. I watched her reaction.
Ngumiti siya ng malawak at pumapalpak.
"Bagay sa'yo! Ang ganda mo!" aniya at inikot ako upang tignan ang kabuuan ng aking damit.
I looked at myself in front of the mirror inside the comfort room. I'm wearing a sleeveless croptop with a denim longsleeve jacket. I matched it with a short high waisted skirt and a black stiletto. I'm happy with how I look but I'm worried about what people would say about me.
"Hindi ba nakakahiya?" Eunice rolled her eyes.
"Hindi no" aniya at tinulak na ako palabas ng C.R.
We headed straight to the gym. Andoon sila Tracy na hindi magkandaugaga. Nakaupo sa isang sulok ang iba kong mga babaeng kaklase at isa isa silang inaayusan nila Katie. Eunice and I went to their place. I sat beside Kim and smiled at her.
"Nice outfit" aniya at ngumiti. I smiled back at her. I took a deep breath and looked at my classmates who were doing their own stuffs.
Inaayos nila ang magiging set-up ng photoshoot. Nakahanda doon ang camera sa harap. Nakita ko ang green na background at ang mga ilaw nanakapaligid. Hindi ko maiwasang mapahanga sa pagkakaisa na mayroon kami ngayon.
If there is teamwork, a good leader, and hardworking members there's no doubt that we will achieve our goal.
"Dala mo ba ang cellphone ko?" I asked Eunice who's seating right beside me.
"Hindi" aniya ng hindi man lang inalis ang tingin sa kanyang phone.
Kinagat ko ang aking labi at tumayo. I went to Tracy. I need to get my phone. Eunice seems to be busy and I don't want to bother her.
Kinalabit ko si Tracy "Punta lang ako sa room. I'll just get my phone" she nodded and faced our classmates again.
I idolize her. What she's doing is hard. Being a leader is a responsibility. Everyone is looking forward to every actions, every decisions you make. The whole musical play is in her hands, and we're here to help her out. We'll do our best in this Musical Play we're about to present in front of all the students in our school.
