I woke up under the warmth of blankets and my mattress cradled my body. Feeling my body roll over to spread warmth, I opened my eyes and groaned as I stared into the darkness. Saturday, finally I thought to myself, moaning out of pure laziness as I flopped my body around, trying to situate myself on my bed. Bed? I fell asleep on the couch. My droopy eyes became alert and my mind refused to stretch back into sleep. Running out of my room, I looked over the railing of the loft, my heart racing as I lost visibility of Loki. Great, you idiot! You forgot your glasses I chastised myself then reluctantly made my way down the stairs.

"Loki?" I asked feeling around in the house searching for a light switch. A lamp was on from last night but that was all I could see. I made my way to the light and saw my black, bulky, square glasses. I shoved them on my face, adjusting them on the bridge of my nose with my middle finger. Loki lay on the couch, his face opposite from the lamp. His black hair was still slicked back and he looked peaceful. I remembered what Loki had done last night, brought me into his safe haven. The sky and the trees, how calm everything was for being inside the mind of the god og mischief. One would think much more would be going on upstairs as opposed to reading a book in the breeze. The flowers stood out in my mind most. I was entranced with their beauty, of the marvel of the bridge and the glory Asgard had. Everything was beautiful and enticing.

The clock in the kitchen read 9:34 a.m. and I gave up trying to wake "his majesty." I sat on a stool at the bar of my kitchen and stared at the oven. Slowly, my head dropped onto the counter and into my arms, burying my face into my skin and squishing my glasses. It felt like no more than five minutes went by before I heard the annoying and ear splitting screams enter my head.

"FISHY, WAKE. UP." The common quote of Darla from Finding Nemo rang through my ears as Zayle danced around me.

"For the love of Odin, what in the realms is going on?!" Loki bellowed, rolling over then dragging himself to his feet. "You Midgardians and your impulses! How dare you interrupt me while I sleep you mewling-" I used my powers to simulate me slapping Loki in the face.

"Good morning, Zayle. He's not much of a morning person, apparently," I said jumping to a very accurate assumption.

"Do you wish a good morning unto me, or do you wish to say it is indeed a good morning, or are you telling me the morning is good whether I want it to be or not?" she asked. I rolled my eyes and pushed my hair back while running my fingers through it.

"Don't go all Gandalf on me, Zayle. You know that's my thing! What would I have left if you took it?" I teased. She raised her eyebrows and put her mouth next to my ear beginning to whisper.

"A hunk in your living room, obviously hung over from where ever you found him from," she said. I rolled my eyes and tried to respond.

"It's not what you think." Zayle had already walked away from me and started running her big mouth toward Loki.

"Tasia is always bringing in the broken and beaten, the lost and lonely. She has a knack for it. She also has sympathy and patience that can outlast waiting for the second coming."

"Second coming of what?" Loki asked.

"He's not very, advanced," I warned my friend as she went and started poking all of the buttons I knew never to mess with on Loki.

"Advanced? NOT ADVANCED?! I'll have you know I come from a place where traveling between planets is a common occurrence, where technology is used for beneficial purposes rather than to pay attention to meaningless-"
