You know those stories that have absolutely no plot line? Or the ones that are majorly overused?
You do? Well good, that way you'll be able to relate to this chapter!
So, plot-lines. There are Overused ones, Amazing ones, and ones that don't even make sense!
Okay, get this: Girl looks like guy -> Girl stumbles into the Host Club -> Girl breaks thing -> Girl becomes a host -> Guy discovers that shes a Girl -> Guy and Girl fall in love
Or there's: Girl likes music -> Girl gets a music scholarship -> Girl finds Host Club -> Girl finds her way into their debt > Girl becomes a Hostess/Maid -> Guy develops a fancy towards Girl -> Guy and Girl Fall in Love
Now, there's nothing wrong with these. I, for one, have seen some like this that are amazing! But, a lot of them suck... Now, if you have one of these, never fear! There are many people who love cliche books! I'm just not one of them!
Now, how about the ones where the author has no idea where the story is going?They just write something and then BOOM, a book
Again, there's nothing wrong with these! These are more of the Slice Of Life types of books, which actually aren't that bad! I actually really enjoy Slice of Life! But when it starts making no sense, that's where people will start to leave! If you don't know where you want your story to go, you can go onto tvtropes.org for ideas! I use this a lot when I'm having writers block, so you might find something that pleases you!
Now, onto my personal favorite! I'll be using my own plot line for this ( don't give me that look ) so you guys can get the gist
Girl is a Regular at the Host Club -> Girl hides the fact that she's an orphan -> 3 Guys find out her secret -> Guys blackmail her into doing things for her ( all while not being apart of the Host Club ) -> Girl agrees -> Guy 1 and 2 make Girl fall in love with Guy 2 -> Girl confesses to Guy 2 -> Guy 2 harshly rejects her -> Girl avoids Guy 1 & 2 -> Girl gets in a fight with Guy 1 & 2 -> Girl tells everyone her secret -> Guy 3 confesses to Girl -> Girl kindly rejects Guy 3 -> Guy 3 finds out about what the others did to her -> Guy 3 yells at 1 & 2 -> Girl lives happily with her biological family -> Guy 1 lives normally -> Guy 2 lives sadly
Pretty angsty story if you ask me. This is the only one that I've seen that was like this, where no one ends up with a partner. Most OHSHC FFs are Romance ones, while this one was a Romantic Drama.
