I glanced at the clock.

"Bout time you got here, babe."
Mac said looking at you as you walked in while the others were to busy to notice you. They were more occupied on what the genius had said.
"Babe?" Jack asked.
"What?" Mac asked clueless
"You just called her babe."
"No I didn't."
"Oh yes you did kid."
"No no i didn't."
"Denial. First sign of lying." Riley said standing from her seat.
"You got to admit Mac. You did kind of say it." Madi the hun stated.
"I didn't say anything of the sort for the last time. Can we just get on with the mission?" Mac rolled his eyes hiding his nervousness.
"Not until we figure out what's going on." Jack said with a smirk.
"Faye. Did he call you babe?" Riley asked.
Uh oh. We're dead. I am the absolute worst liar ever. I'll stutter and feel the guilt eating away at me and I can already feel their stares.
"Uh.... I don't know. I mean I know. But you know I don't really.. yeah."
"Ha! I knew it. Mac has been texting someone late at night. Lately and that would explain why she's been sleeping in." Bozer said now walking in.
"I was kinda eavesdropping."
Mac and I exchanged looks. He sighed."Fine your right. And now I'm dead right?"
"Big time."
