Tonight was the night. I was all made up, all ready and waiting to go to prom.

When I started dating Kevin I thought I had to come to terms with the fact that I'd never go to prom but he made my dreams come true. He did something way out of his comfort zone and against his interest because he knew it was something I wanted.
I waited with my parents on the couch as they admired my dress and my makeup.
"You look absolutely gorgeous, baby" My mom said
There was a sudden knock on the door and I got really nervous for some reason.
My mom ran to open the door
"Hi Kevin!!" She exclaimed, giving him a hug
"Hi mom!" He said with the same enthusiasm.
"Hey Kev" My dad smiled
"Hi dad" Kevin said bringing him into a guy hug.
I hid behind the wall of the hallway.
"Where is she?" He asked
I slowly walked out and looked down, nervously.
His mouth hung open and he looked at my dad.
"Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?" He questioned out loud
He wore a red jacked over a white dress shirt with black pants and a red bow.

"You look so good Kev" I chuckled
He walked over to me and took my hand in his, taking a corsage from his pocket and putting it on my wrist.
His eyes scanned my grey dress and down the slit that was showing off my leg.
I stood on my tip toes and pecked his lips.
I wasn't wearing heals because I can't walk in them.
"Thank you so much" I whispered
He smiled
My parents took loads of pictures of us before we left.
When we got outside I didn't see his car where is normally was.
