Chaeyoung POV
I was about to start my day off with drawing the beautiful sunrise taking place outside. While admiring the beauty of nature, my boss, Yang Hyun-suk, suddenly barged into my room.
"Chaeyoung! I have something urgent to talk about with you. Head to my office in ten minutes," he announced, closing the door a little too hard after the last word left his mouth.
I stood there, not sure how to react. Was I in trouble? Nah, I'm a goody two shoes, and proud. So what could it be? Dismissing my thoughts quickly, I started to clean up my materials, looking out the window one last time to admire the event unfolding outside before heading out.
On the way to the office, I bumped into Jennie, one of my group mates.
"Where are you going Rosie?" Jennie asked me, startled, looking towards the direction I was heading.
"Ah, I'm on my way to meet chairman Yang Hyun-suk," I said nervously.
Jennie nodded, like she knew something, "You'll be happy with what he's going to say," she smiled, "Don't be too nervous, you'll be fine." She assured me.
I sigh, relieved, "That makes me feel better, thank you Jennie."
"I believe in you Rosie!" She exclaimed, continuing to her destination.
After a few more minutes of walking, I finally made it to the entrance of the office. Standing in front of the office, I grasped the door knob, breathing in deeply in the process. "Yang Hyun-suk," I said out loud, reading the little platform next to the door. Twisting the door know, I entered the room.
I gasped upon entering. A brown haired man I immediately recognized was sitting on one of the comfy chairs facing the chairman's table. He turned his chair upon hearing my entrance. Quickly covering my mouth with both hands, I bowed down in a ninety degree angle.
"Haha, you don't need to bow to me," he assured me, "You're older by a couple of months."
"I-I have to," I stuttered, still shocked, "you have been in the kpop industry longer than me."
Before he could say anything in reply, chairman interrupted our short conversation, "Chaeyoung, this is Jungkook from the group BTS," he paused, staring at me, "although it seems you already know him."
"Yes chairman," I said in reply, "I have been a fan of BTS for a few years now."
"Then you'll be happy to hear this." He said while taking out a piece of paper from one of his drawers, "the chairman of BigHit and I have decided to create a collaboration with you and Jungkook here."
My eyes widened, "Really?"
"It also seems Jungkook here is a fan of you too," he said directing his gaze on Jungkook, "it's a win-win situation."
Jungkook didn't seem fazed by the announcement at all. He seemed to have already known. "It's nice to meet you in person Rosé," a small smile formed on his face, "I'm looking forward to our collab."
I smiled back, not wanting to be rude. "Ah, what type of collab are we doing?" I asked chairman.
"See for yourself," he said, handing the paper he took out earlier to me.
