Jungkook's POV

"Don't wait. The time will never be just right"

I sighed in relief as I finished the last note for a bouquet of flowers. It was a bundle of gardenia's, one of my favorite flowers.

I set down the flowers on the last empy display, admiring my work. It was nearly closing time now, but I had told the store owner that I would stay behind. Jin was reluctant at first, for he did not want to leave me all alone with the work, but I urged him to hurry and leave everything to me. Jin was planning to suprise his girlfriend, Jisoo, with a proposal today. I wasn't about to ruin his plans with something as minor as arranging flowers.

A jingle of bells resonated throughout the room, and I turned around to greet a frequent customer. "Oh, welcome back again mam! What would you like this time?" I spread out my arms to the collection of flowers around me, "There's plently available."

The young woman took a moment to walk around the room, feeling the flowers. She stopped at the flower I had arranged just moments ago. "Would this be another bundle made by Kookie?"

I stood next to her, our shoulders mere inches apart. "Indeed it is, mam." I said after peering over her shoulder, "does it interest you?"

The woman brought her hands close to her mouth (I've noticed that she's always done this whenever she was nervous in the past. Frankly, I found it quite adorable), looking at anywhere but me, and nodded her head. "Could you also do me a favor?"

I gazed intently at her, curious. Unbeknownst to her, I was Kookie. But that was only an alias, so to her, I was just the worker Jungkook. "If it's to my abilities, then it would be to my pleasure mam."

I noticed that the young woman was beginning to turn red at the cheeks, and I began to worry that she was sick, but before I could voice my concern, she hastily muttered, "couldyoutellKookiethatI'vefallenforhimandthatheprobablydoesn'tknowmebuthisletters-"

"Woah, woah there, mam. Slow down." I interrupted her, unable to decipher a single thing she just said, "I would love to help, but I can't understand what you're saying."

She turned even more red, and took a deep breathe before restarting, tightening her low pony tail, "Basically, I've fallen for Kookie."

It took me a moment to comprehend what she just said. "You've fallen for m- I mean Kookie?" I whispered-yelled in disbelief.

The young woman glanced at me for a moment, but then looked away just as quickly, "Yeah, I know it's really dumb because he probably doesn't know me..." she paused, sighing, "but he's helped me through a lot of things through the little notes he's left in his bouquets."

I've always written down little notes in my bouquets in hopes that it would brighten someone's day. It was a signature of mine that I developed through Jin. He had helped me through my darkest times. My parents had both passed away a few years ago from a car accident with me as the sole survivor. I had lost all my will to continue, but Jin had brought me from the darkness and into the light. He helped me realized that life is worth living, and that it should never be taken for granted because we only have one life to live. I looked up to him, and due to that, I started writing little notes for customers, in hopes that I could also guide them into the light.

"Hey... Jungkook, are you alright?" A voice echoed, and I was brought back to reality.

I nodded my head, "I'm good. Just got lost in my own world. It happens sometimes." Well, that was partially true. I tended to drift off into my own world way too many time per day, and this was no thanks to my eccentric boss.

"Well if you're all good, would you mind passing that to him?" She said nervously, bringing her hands to her mouth once again (Why is this habit of hers so adorable? I might as well be the one who has fallen for her). "As well as the flowers?"

"Oh, he's already heard you loud and clear." I smirked, "because Kookie is me."

If it was even possible, the woman turned even more red, "Wait so-"

I chuckled, "Yup, the one and only." I said, doing a little bow, "I guess the gardenia is no longer needed, huh?"

The young woman was still frozen on the spot, but she was able to utter a soft "I guess."

"By the way, what's your name? I never really caught it."

"Um, it's Park Chaeyoung."

"Well, Chaeyoung, I have a feeling that we'll be seeing each other more often." I said with a wink.

Chaeyoung blushed even harder.
