Too Much Cheese

Chaeyoung's POV

  Today felt like a normal day.  Like always, I captured the environment around me, admiring its beauty.  Today I decided to travel to a park I've never been to. The beauty of nature never failed to amaze me.  Around me were dozens of flowers.  Flowers of different hues, coming together to create a beautiful scenery.

  I bring up my left arm to cover myself from the sun's glare, squinting up to the blue, cloudless sky, imagining the infinite amount of stars covered by the day.  Leaving the pavement, I walked to the nearest tree, leaning my back on its bark.  Crossing my legs, I proceed to take pictures of the green grass around me, smiling when a monarch butterfly lands on top of a piece.

  Once satisfied with a photo, I rest my arms, scanning the area for a few moments.  There were a few families having picnics, the kids running around while the parents prepared the food.  An old couple was sitting on a bench across from me, hands clasped together as they sat together in silence. 

    A young man that looked around my age caught my attention.  He had dark brown hair with multiple piercings on his visible ear.  Wrapped around his left wrist on a leash was a young zuchon.

    The puppy was sniffing around, wrinkling its nose from time to time.  I giggled at how cute it was.  As the man and his puppy got closer to my spot, the puppy got excited at the sight of me, bounding in my direction.

    I opened my arms, eagerly waiting for the puppy to arrive in my arms.

    "My baby!" I exclaimed, hugging the puppy in my arms.  The puppy settled into my arms, welcoming my embrace.  The softness of its fur caused me to leave the world for a good few seconds.

  "What about me?" The young man interjected, interrupting my peace, "Oh wait," he began before I could reply, "rather than your baby, I'm your camera because every time you look at me, you smile."

  I stared blankly at him, then busted out laughing.  "Oh my gosh, you totally got that from the internet again!" I accused him, my voice shaking from laughter.

  He grins, "You caught me again!  Dang it."

  My laughter subsides, and I pat the spot next to me, "Sit down, you look real awkward standing there."

  He abides to my request, but not without saying, "Oh sorry, I was just admiring one of the seven wonders of the world."

  I bring one of my hands to cover my mouth, embarrassed, "I guess today's one of those days I guess."

  "Indeed, another day where there's something wrong with my eyes because I can never take them off you."  He gazed at me, smiling.

  I gazed back, my hand lowering from my mouth, "You know what?  Two can play that game."  I proceeded to take my phone out of my back pocket, stroking the puppy's back with my other hand.

  "What are you doing?" Jungkook asks nervously.

  "Oh don't mind me," I say, imitating his tone, "I'm just going to call the cops because you stole my heart."  I tried to keep a straight face, but in the end, my laughter took over once again.

  "Hmm, not bad." Jungkook criticizes, rubbing his chin with one hand, "could have been a bit more cheesy, but not too bad."

  I fanned myself with one hand, attempting to return to my normal state, "In all seriousness, how'd the job meeting go?"

  Jungkook sits still for a few seconds before replying, "I may or may have not gotten the job..."

  I gasp in surprise, "Really?  Oh my goodness, congrats!"  I scooted closer in his direction to give him a quick peck on the cheeks.

  "Is that all the congratulations I get?" Jungkook pouted.

  I sigh, "Fine."  I lean in once again to give him another kiss, but this time on the lips.  Pulling away, Jungkook catches my face with his hands.

  "You know what Chaeyoung?" He asked, looking into my eyes.

  "What?" I asked, confused.

  "If I had to choose between breathing or loving you, I would rather say 'I love you' with my last breathe."

  I leaned in to give him a gentle smack on the forehead with my own.

  "Ouch!" He exaggerates.

"You'll never stop, will you?"

"I don't know, will I ever?"

  I laugh, getting up with the puppy still in my arms.  "Come on, let's go out and eat something."

  "But I don't need to." He replies, standing up. 

  "Oh gosh, what is it again?" I sigh, preparing to smack my self.

  "Normal guys may need to eat 3 meals a day, but I only need love from you." He smirks.

  "You totally got that from a website again,"  I deadpanned on him, "Come on, I'm hungry."

  He chuckles, "Alright, I guess it's time for me to stop-" he pauses, "Or will I?"

  I begun to walk away from him, "What will I ever do with you?"

  He catches up to my side, "You know you love me." He says cheekily.

  "I can't help it, you tripped me last year, so I couldn't help but fall in love with you."

A/N - If I had to be really honest, I cringed the whole time writing this because of all the cheesiness lmao.  Most of the jokes were from online, but I made up the seven wonders one (are you proud of me lol).  I again apologize for not updating for a while, but unfortunately, that's going to be frequent now especially since I just started High School (and yes, I'm a Freshman).  I hope you guys will look forward to the next update- however long that'll take~
