Out of anger, Baekhyun blurted out the truth about his relationship with Taeyeon. "She's not my friend, Chanyeol. She's my supposed-to-be bride that i abandoned at our wedding." His fists were clenched at his sides and he was taking short and rapid breaths.

Chanyeol was shocked at his sudden revelation, "She's your bride?" He asked as Jeonghan and Joshua was also surprised knowing the said fact. The midget was still outraged by Chanyeol's feelings towards Taeyeon and he doesn't know why and it's making him very angry.

Joshua must've sensed that the two boys needed some privacy so he pulled Jeonghan with him in a random store nearby, leaving them to settle the misunderstanding that they have. "Why did you lie? You could've stated the truth." Chanyeol questioned, confused with Baekhyun's actions.

"I was just doing Taeyeon a favor. She would've been uncomfortable if she had introduced herself as my bride whom i left before our wedding, think about it Chanyeol."

Chanyeol was caught off guard by Baekhyun's harsh tone towards him. "Hey wait, why are you so angry to me? I didn't even do anything." He asked, causing Baekhyun to close his mouth since he was also clueless by his own behavior.

"D-do you like T-Taeyeon?" Baekhyun queried, ignoring Chanyeol's question, now making Chanyeol's eyebrows furrowed with his sudden question. "What is it with you? Don't tell me you like Taeyeon, you left her in your own wedding Baekhyun and now all of a sudden you li-".

Baekhyun cutted off Chanyeol with a loud cry, "I don't like her Chanyeol for goodness sake!"

"Then what Baekhyun? Why are you mad at me all of a sudden? Why are you questioning my feelings towards Taeyeon?" He besieged the midget with questions that Baekhyun were trying to avoid for he didn't know the answers himself. Baekhyun remained silent as he were speechless for few moments.

"Answer me Baekhyun!" He exclaimed, catching the attention of some passersby who gave them questioning look. "Come on Chanyeol. Let's talk somewhere else." Baekhyun suggested, feeling flustered with the attention that they were gaining.

He held Chanyeol's hand and was about to pull him when the giant retrieved his hand and pushed Baekhyun away from him.

"Let's end this conversation right here, right now Baek. Just answer me." Chanyeol said, irritated as he was confused with Baekhyun and himself. "I don't know Chanyeol okay? I don't know why it angered me to know that you like Taeyeon! I'm confused!" Baekhyun replied, tugging at the roots of his hair.

Chanyeol took a deep breath before doing the thing he thought that could end the confusion inside his head and the uncertainty of his feelings. He needed to confirm something and he knew that it was the time to do the right thing.

He drew Baekhyun closer to him and connected their lips and that moment he felt the confusion inside his mind dispersed and he was at peace.

He finally knew, he realized that he like Baekhyun.

Baekhyun gasp as he couldn't comprehend what Chanyeol did. His eyes were wide and he awkwardly held Chanyeol's arms. He wanted to push the giant away but he couldn't because he kind of liked the connection between their lips.

The midget closed his eyes and relaxed under Chanyeol's touch. It felt magical and almost surreal as if he's only dreaming and his mind was only playing tricks on him.

Chanyeol pulled away but kept his eyes fixed on Baekhyun. It took him some time to realize his actions and feelings towards Baekhyun who's taking his heart slowly, unknowingly.

"C-Chanyeol, w... w-why?" Baekhyun stuttered, he wanted an explanation that the kiss they shared wasn't a mistake just like with their first one. He wanted to confirm if the kiss was Chanyeol's will to do so.

Chanyeol softly smiled, "I just needed to confirm it Baek. And i'm glad that i did." Baekhyun was tangled in wonders, "Confirm what?" He asked, innocently.

The giant chuckled lightly, brushing Baekhyun's hair away from his eyes, "That i like you."

"You... like m-me?" Baekhyun asked in disbelief, pointing to himself. "Yes i like you, you idiot." Chanyeol pinched both of his cheeks, finding the latter adorable. "But you... you said you like Taeyeon?" The midget again asked, doubting Chanyeol's confession.

"No i don't," Chanyeol giggled, "I was only confirming this feeling that i have whenever i'm with you. I tried to divert my attention perhaps my feelings away from you but it didn't work and i'm glad."

Baekhyun's cheeks heated up as he heard Chanyeol's words. It felt overwhelming and it was a feeling that he never wanted to fade away, ever.

"So... do you like me too?" Chanyeol asked, skeptical of asking but he was curious and he wanted to know if the feeling was mutual. "Maybe? I wouldn't be jealous of Taeyeon if i don't like you." The midget replied, laughing a little.

"So you admit that you were jealous?" The latter teased and Baekhyun whined in return, hitting him playfully but Chanyeol stopped him by yanking him in a tight hug.

Baekhyun couldn't help but smile as the warmth of Chanyeol engulfed his being. It was different from the hug that they have shared before, this time, it was filled with tenderness and compassion, a feeling that they both shared with each other.

And that very moment he realized that, he's slowly falling inlove with the runaway boy.
