Light shines through my eyelids and I wake up in bed. Morning light pours in through the curtains and shines on my art across the room. I sit up, rub my aching head and take a deep breath in. It hurts to breathe.
I look over to my alarm clock. 8:42.
'Welp,' I think. 'Guess I'm missing review day.'
It won't be that bad. Jace is in most of my core classes and he's a straight A student. I'd like to say the same, but I think my solid C's and D's might disagree. It's not that I'm dumb. I just don't care. I'll just ask for his notes.
Andrew would've already left for school so that just leaves me.
