Channing sat at his desk on his bedroom, a blank email draft open. He tapped his pencil on the math homework next to the laptop, not sure how to answer it. Looking at his screen, the blond opened a different tab and looked up ways to answer it. After studying the process a little, he was able to answer a few more questions.
He has found that researching videos and online tutorials helped him a lot with retaining information. It took him a lot less time to finish it, and everything started to make sense. Channing felt really bad that it wasn't Adam who was truly helping him. What if the taller boy found out? What would he say? What if he just left?
Channing had been doing his best to hide his secret to figuring it all out. When Adam would show him something, he'd pretend to ponder over it and, every so often, pretend to get the answer wrong. He didn't like lying, but it was only so he didn't have to say goodbye to Adam so soon.
Why am I like this? Channing thought to himself, He's a junior. He's a baseball star. Every girl must want him, and he must want every girl. He wouldn't want me.
Channing sighed and pushed the thought of Adam away, concentrating on his homework. Sadly, he only had 2 questions left, and they were easy. Once he was done, his eyes turned back to his screen, where the empty email was. Adam's address was already typed in the box. Channing decided to just take the leap and wrote a quick email and sent it.

Congrats! :) I wish I did athletic stuff, but you can tell from looking at me that I'm all bones. I'd break like a twig.
