Hmm wonder why dad wanted me to attend here I know it's prestigious and all but isn't it a bit too I don't know fancy?? Geez all these people can think about these days
"Hey, you your that snobby brat who broke my teapot that was imported from China all the way here and it costs a fortune hope you can pay it back" A rich brat told me
"No thanks I need to pass a transfer exam, bye!" Is all I said honestly I can't wast my time on them.
Guess this is the entrance to the transfer exam might as well. I'm not impressed it's just to be expected of a rich culinary school like this. Oh the examiner is speaking
"Hello I'm Shinomiya Shiome F
from Tootsuki Academy's Elite Council of Ten Masters Me being part of the 1st Seat"

"Today you will be making a French dish if you pass you may experience the beauty of Tootsuki Academy" As she says it the crowd applauds
"But, Be warned if you fail your career as a chef is going to be long gone so that's why you have ten seconds to get out of here and withdraw" she says with a big smirk as half the crowd pour out I stay.
Not knowing the danger that lie ahead of me
"Are you all the only ones left such a shame I wanted to toy with you all well as I said make a French dish of utmost perfection. Time starts... NOW!"
I haven't even decided yet um Jambon persillé? No too low class Gougère? No too many people are already making it Escargots de Bourgogne? No that's a starter I'm sure she means a dessert or a main course dish hmmm oh yes that would work
"Yes! Ok I know what I shall make now miss examiner may I start"
I asked The 1st Seat of this council
"Yes you may Bonne chance " (Meaning: Good Luck ) She whispers something at the end but I couldn't decipher it.
I start to cook my dish in a skillet pan. First I fry the onions and set them aside, and then I cook the chicken 10 minutes in each side until no pink meat is shown and no juices are coming out. Then I drain the oil and sprinkle the chicken with paprika. After that I pour the Red Wine I cover it and simmer the chicken from about 15 to 20 minutes. Then I lightly baste the chicken with wine sauce while I'm cooking it then I add salt and peeper to taste. I begin plating it and stand in line to have her taste it
"Disgusting!"
"But Ma'am you haven't tasted it yet?"
"I don't need to taste something to know you messed up with plating the dish. It's is as if you just cooked it and threw it onto a plate"
"I'm sorry Ma'am please give me a second chance I'm begging you"
"What could you do there's no more ingredients. It's useless"
I hear her arguing with some chef and eventually the chef was kicked out and it was my turn
"Chicken and Red wine is it? Hmm... such a classic and you plated it baeutifully. And this wonderful aroma. Now to taste it" she says before taking a spoonful of it
'This Wine where did you get it?? It's texture is so good that it increases the acidity of the chicken making it tender and juicy yet you didn't waste a single second for the chicken to cook it makes that delicious" She said after eating
"Well its our custom Red Wine its texture is bold and sweet which makes anything that is paired with it delicious" I told her from the second I stared cooking I had a lot of wine to pick from but then I remembered our Red Wine would be perfect from its bold texture to its sweet scent it was the perfect Red wine
"You pass your uniform is there and please write your phone number here" she says shyly and points at the table
"And as for the rest of you, you all get a fail"
"What? But you hav--"
"I don't need to taste to know that you cooked it for 5 seconds too long and that the seasoning isn't even which makes the dish and seasoning fight for the aroma out of all the participants only 2 have passed"
She says and walks out hmm... I wonder who was the other one I didn't pay much attention to the others dosen't matter I'm going to become the best chef Tootsuki has seen!!!
