No One - Alicia Keys
The next day, Juliet decided to tag along with the boys today whilst they were filming, as she was feeling a lot better and felt like she was actually able to move.
They were stood on a huge field doing another set of stupid stunts whilst the bright sun beamed heavily upon the group. Juliet and a few others stood around in between filming, chatting to one another.
Juliet stood alone with her arms folded behind Rick Kosick, who was talking to Steve-O and advising him on how to do a certain stunt so it would 100% fail. Juliet was simply watching Steve-O being his old, original self. And she loved that Steve-O.
But he'd changed. And definitely not for the better.
"Ryan, you ready?" Rick asked up to him, Ryan walking hastily over to Steve-O both now on stilts.
"3...2...1-"
And they began with the introduction. Juliet had to shield her eyes from the sun constantly, Pontius, Dave, Ehren, Wee-Man, Bam and Preston doing the same.
Johnny came prepared; he wore his black trousers that were too short on the leg, his long socks and converse, no shirt, and his aviators and a baseball cap, along with his blue, red, and white wristband.
He stood behind her and placed his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her head, Juliet smiling to herself.
He frowned when he noticed that the sun was getting in her eyes, removing his baseball cap and placing it on top of her hair, kissing the crown of her skull gently and leaving his chin resting on her head. She placed her arm down, allowing Johnny's to wrap around her neck, Juliet kissing his forearm and her hands grasping them. She could feel him smile.
They laughed and spoke as the stunt continued, Rick often catching the reactions of the other guys behind him, panning in on Johnny and Juliet.
Johnny smiled wider and closed his eyes tightly together, Juliet covering her face with her hands.
"Aw c'mon, JJ!"
"Show the camera your pretty lil' face-" Johnny lightly grabbed her hands and removed them from her face, Juliet giggling loudly as Johnny's laugh chimed. She gently struggled against him before giving in a smiling at the camera like Johnny did.
Steve-O watched jealously, Dunn taking the opportunity to uppercut him right in the jaw, which Kosick just managed to get on record.
"Ooo shit!" Everyone gasped as the connection could be heard from a mile away, Steve-O hitting the ground with a shocking thud.
Juliet immediately ran to his side, Steve-O moving and groaning in pain.
"Are you okay?" She placed one of her hands on his bare chest, Steve-O placing his hand on top of hers. Everyone else gathered around the two, all with amused expressions on their faces, like Steve-O's.
"All good, babe." He smirked, leaning up and kissing her lips, which all but Johnny laughed at; he just quietly broke away from the herd and shoved his hands in his pockets, busying himself by talking to Jeff about pointless things whilst Juliet and Steve-O kissed and flirted.
"You okay, Johnny?" Jeff asked him before sipping his can of Coke, Johnny picking out a Sprite from the beer cooler.
"No, to be perfectly fuckin' honest." He spat as he angrily pulled the tab off of the can and flicked it onto the floor, stuffing his spare hand into his pocket.
"Is it because of Steve-O and Juliet?" Jeff looked over at the couple, who were now alone, catching them whispering some things into each other's ears.
"What gave it away?" Johnny scoffed sarcastically, sipping his drink.
"I've never seen you like this before, Johnny." Jeff spoke quietly, even though basically everyone knew of his "thing" for Juliet, excluding herself.
"Because I've never felt like this before." Johnny moved his eyes up to Jeff's face, who looked down.
"If it's meant to happen, it will." Jeff patted Johnny on his shoulder, leaving it there for comfort.
"I guess so, but...- I've been thinkin' this for a while now - but do you think I should maybe try to break up Steve-O and Juliet?" Johnny stood closer to Jeff, whose hand had dropped from Johnny's shoulder.
"Man, you can't mess up someone's relationship because you like one of 'em-"
"-No, no, not just 'cause of that; I think they're in a toxic relationship, well, Juliet is." Johnny eased Jeff's conscience, however Jeff still appeared very unsure.
"I still don't know, dude..." Jeff gently shook his head, looking over at Steve-O and Juliet who were play fighting on the grass, Juliet laughing profusely.
"I know it doesn't look that bad now, but Steve-O's drinking and drug problems are getting worse." Johnny spoke seriously, Jeff not removing his eyes from the happy couple.
"But Juliet must know how to deal with them if she's been with Steve-O, what, 4 months now?" Jeff asked him, Johnny shaking his head.
"I haven't let him near her when he's drunk or high. So, she has no idea." Johnny shrugged, also discreetly looking over at the couple, but mostly watching and listening to Juliet's lovely laugh.
"That's sweet, but you're not always gonna be there when he's like that and in the same room as her. You can't wrap her up in cotton wool all of her life." Jeff said honestly, Johnny sighing and turning back to Jeff.
"That's why I don't even want them to be together; so I can look after her wherever, whenever, without the risk of Steve-O doing anything to her whilst under the influence." Johnny felt like he had almost completely convinced Jeff, even though he was determined that he'd do it with or without people's consent.
"It's stupid and risky, but what if I pull this off?" Johnny added, Jeff sighing again.
"I know either way, you're gonna do what you wanna do. My only piece of advice is, if you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough."
