So I love Harry Potter as much as the next Potterhead, but this is an idea I really want someone to try because, if done right, I think this could be a great read.
Imagine being at Hogwarts at the same time as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Draco Malloy, Ron Weasley, but the story isn't about them. In fact, they're barely in it, if at all. This story is about what is going on in the life of another one of their classmate, who is getting an outside perspective of everything going on, but is mainly focused on their own problems. If you think about it, most of the Hogwarts students don't know what the heck the gang is up to, so they're living their own life and dealing with their own problems as a young witch/wizard.
Hear me out: I think this could also be really good if it was a fan fiction inside a fan fiction. The story could be based around their own adventures at Hogwarts. Love, loss, discovery.
