"Grayson is fire, Ethan is ice. One glimpse of him ignites his stone cold eyes. The heat of his body melts the frozen parts of his heart, he walks through flames just to feel his warmth."

-

5 days and nights out of 7, 120 hours out of 168,  432,000 seconds out of 604,800. That's how often Ethan and Grayson were together. And it's been a month since they started seeing each other, so make that 20 days, 480 hours and countless seconds together.

Every time they would meet up, Bellamy was told that Ethan was out for supplies or helping his family with important tasks. Sometimes it was 'an errand' for his sister or 'a computer problem', since his parents weren't very acquainted with anything relating to technology.

Ethan was telling the truth, to some extent. Ethan was spending time with his family. But what his boyfriend didn't understand were the important details; his actual meaning of 'helping family out'.

But he knew Bellamy wasn't an idiot. He was intelligent enough to discover the truth, to dig out the skeletons in Ethan's closet, but he also knew he trusted Ethan to believe every lie he fed him. Even though it was distressing to be without Ethan.

And somehow, Ethan felt no guilt whenever he would abandon him for Grayson. He only had the same cold feeling spread inside of him everytime he opened his mouth to lie. There were no real feelings; he was just emotionless.

But what he was feeling, right in that moment, was Grayson's love. His comforting warmth and his large, gentle hand rested on his bare chest.

Only he could make Ethan feel.

It had slipped his mind how Grayson gently snored in his sleep. And how adorable his lips looked when his cheeks were squished against Ethan's chest.

This had felt like an endless nap and Ethan had watched him most of the time. Grayson brought a genuine smile to his brother's lips as his petite nose quickly scrunched up in his sleep.

They had spent the afternoon throwing pebbles out on the lake and chasing each other around the trees behind Grayson's house. By the time it was already growing dark, Gray had been knocked out once his head hit the pillow ( aka Ethan )

It was a hazy time between day and night; the line between them was blurred. To Ethan, it felt as if they were in space, an undefined time in their limitless universe. Because that's how Grayson made him feel. Like he was floating away from his problems, peacefully, and he would never return to their harsh reality.

Time had passed. Minutes slipped into hours, but it was hard to tell. The only reason he knew this was because it was late at night, close to midnight. Ethan was up, but his twin was still fast asleep.

The sound of crickets in the air faded away.

The intensity of the moon appeared to grow and brought a heavenly, silver light into the room; the dust particles floated in the still air.
