Freakishly Miraculous

Awkward Mornings

Instead of hearing his usual song- "Miraculous" by Jagged Stone, he heard a normal alarm go off. Adrien lifted his head, his vision was blurred but he could make out a phone where the alarm was coming from. He pushed the button to make it stop ringing. The alarm had Adrien confused; his first thought was that Nino had messed with settings of his phone, but Nino hadn't been anywhere near his phone yesterday. Then a thought shot through his head,

'Wait, yesterday? Wasn't there an... Akuma?' Adrien's eyes shot wide open and he sat up, suddenly very aware of the room he was in. It was a room he had only been in like twice before. The first thing Adrien took notice of was the amount of pink that filled the entire room. Peaking out from on top of the bed he could see windows and a familiar looking chaise down below. He was clearly in Marinette's room, but why? He looked around for his somewhat trustworthy Kwami.

"Plagg?" Adrien's voice was not his own, but it wasn't foreign either. It was a voice he knew though. Before he could make sense of why his voice was different and little red blur zoomed right into his face, catching him off guard. After taking a second to compose himself he took a close look to what the red blur was; it was a Kwami. It looked a little like Plagg, but instead of it being themed after a black cat, it was themed after... a ladybug. The little creature seemed more confused than he was.

"Marinette, where did you hear that name?" Adrien's eyes widen at the Kwami's question.

'Uh? Marinette? Why would this Kwami assume I'm...' Adrien's thoughts were caught off when he finally took notice of his newly acquired features. His hands were much smaller, and appeared to be more nimble. Minuscule cuts and scratches ran along some of his finger tips, almost as if they had been picked at by a sewing needle here and there. Then there was also the fact about his hair, it was much longer and it wasn't blonde, but blue-black. It made sense why his voice was different: he was in Marinette's body. 'Oh my gosh! I'm Marinette?! How is this even possible? Maybe the Kwami can help me?'

"Ummmm... I don't know how to put this, but I'm not Marinette." The Kwami gasped, putting her little nubs for hands to her mouth.

"I knew my senses weren't going crazy. I thought you felt different!" The Kwami removed her hands from her mouth and proceeded to inspect Adrien, until she stopped at his face once again. "Well, if you aren't Marinette, who are you?" Adrien tried to do his signature neck scratch, but was slightly freaked out by the long hair that now covered the back of his neck. So he just put his hands in his lap as he explained himself.

"Well... I am Adrien Agreste." Shock once again filled the Kwami's expression. "I honestly have no idea how I got to be in Marinette's body. All I remember was fighting that Akuma Gemini with Ladybug, and then we-" Adrien stopped himself as his mind finally took all the pieces of information and solved the puzzle he's been wanting to know ever since he became Chat Noir. He just wanted to make sure that he was right. "Wait, aren't you Ladybug's Kwami?" If Kwami's could go red from embarrassment, then this Kwami sure would've had.  

"You would be correct, my name is Tikki. I give Marinette the ability to transform into Ladybug." Adrien could feel a cheesy smile spread across his face, he finally knows who Ladybug is under the mask, and he could not be any happier. Marinette was such a great girl, and she completes the package that is Ladybug. But as he thought about how great she is, he realize that he was in his crush's body, and he didn't know how to feel about that.

"I guess since the 'cat's out of the bag', I should tell you that I am Chat Noir." Adrien expected Tikki to gaspe once again, but she did not make any sort of reaction. She calmly responded back to him.

"Oh, I already knew that you were Chat Noir." Adrien had to take a double take and his brows furrowed a bit.

"What? You did? How?"
