Hansung and Ji-ae were strolling around the marketplace after returning from the secluded waterfall, that Hansung found in his younger years.
When they were there, Ji-ae told Hansung everything: from the death of her mother, the bounty on her head and the Queen's hospitality. She even added that one night where she saw her mother after her drinking session with Soo Hoo.
Guards still followed Ji-ae close by, slightly intimidating Hansung, but he kept the usual smile on his face.
Hansung had locked their arms together since that point, giving her a sense of security, as they wandered around.
"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Hansung asked Ji-ae, finally seeing the palace gates infront of them. Ji-ae have him a subtle nod in return, soon followed by raising her head to look him in the eyes.
"I'll be okay."
"Are you sure?" He questioned further, holding their gazes for all the while longer. She nodding once again, a smile forming on her lips. "You do make me worry alot, you know?"
"Why?" Ji-ae asked, tucking a steak of hair behind her ear.
Hansung pursed his lips, blinking a couple of times before smiling wide.
"I don't really know." He shrugged, tracing circles on Ji-ae's knuckles.
"You can tell me." Ji-ae said, looking towards Hansung's lowered head. "Why is it, that I make you worry?"
"I don't know how to explain it." He began, beginning to avoid her eyes at all costs from embarrassment. "Perhaps, you could say, that I've been feeling this way for awhile." He began stammering, constantly licking the sudden dryness from his lips.
Ji-ae see his shyness and just stood idly by, watching him become clusters in the most cutest of ways.
"Everytime I'm with you, I almost feel..." He scrunched his nose to one side. A nervous habit which Ji-we had noticed. "...complete?" He asked himself before smiling. "Yeah. I feel complete. And when I'm not with you, I feel..." Hansung stammered again, causing Ji-ae to chime in.
"Incomplete?" She innocnently asked, raising an eyebrow for him to grin at her.
"Yes, incomplete." He said, clicking is fingers in unison. "What I'm actually trying to say is that, I like you."
"Like me?" Ji-ae said, cocking an eyebrow and tilting her head.
Hansung only nodded, looking to his hands holding her small ones perfectly.
"Like, like-like you."
"Well," Ji-ae began, taking a step closer to him. "I, like-like you too."
"You do?" He exclaimed rather then questioned. "You don't find me annoying, or weird?"
Ji-ae shook her head, making a genuine happy smile spread across Hansung's face yet again.
"Miss Kim, we really shoud be getting you back now." One guard said as he approached the young people.
