Icarus, you flew too close to the sun,
Icarus, you made the final run
I wonder how thou felt
I thought you dwelt and would never meltShining golden rays touches my soul
It burns but provides me delight
Icarus, is this the same flight? My love is blind like thee
I only see the Love, rest I foresee
And it is all my imagination
Nothing but my creationThe crooked smile, the gentle eyes it was all worthwhile
The love you endowed, the conversation which fed my soul
Am I not entitled to the stand in the fondness isle? All rights reserved.
Icarus has always been my favourite, what do you think about him?
