SIXTEEN
rose petals tumble from these lipsMy cheeks are printed
with rose petals.
They are all I have left, crushed
against my flesh.
It's cracking beneath the crimson petals,
the porcelain of you and I.
Please hold on a little longer.
Please glue what these bones of ours
could not keep together.
