Chapter 12

Sophie

"Sophie, we're here na.", I was awaken with someone slightly shaking me then I opened my eyes and I saw Donny, smiling at me. "How long was I asleep?", I asked as I yawned softly. Grabe antok ko bes. "Uh, the whole ride.", he chuckles. Grabe nga, haha. I grabbed my phone from my pocket then I saw text from Janina saying, "Claui is here na din pala, Chris fetched her daw sa kanila. Magkasama ba kayo ni Donny??", I sighed then then thought to myself,"Wow, kaya pala iniwan ako dito sa pinsan niya". Then I replied, "Yes grr".

"Let's go na, Claui is probably waiting for us.", Donny said as he turned off the engine then unlocked his seat belt and I did the same, then he went out first to open the door for me din. Yie charot.

It was around 7 na din when Donny and I arrived at Chris' clubhouse. Marami-rami na 'din mga tao, mga ka-batch namin. As we entered the place, we were greeted by Janina and Claui at the door.

"Hey cous! And to our beautiful president.", Claui said once she saw us. "Claui! I thought sabay tayo.", I reacted. Kasi naman eh, 'di nagsasabi. "Sorry! Bigla kasing dumating si Chris sa bahay -", she was butted by Janina half-scraming, "Oh my gosh, si Hans! Claui, tara! Sophie wait lang ah.", then Claui mouthed "I'm sorry." before she and Janina disappeared in a sea of people. I sighed and looked around, "Why don't you go with Chris and Hans? Maybe they're looking for you.", I broke the silence between Donny and I. "Nah, I don't want to be a fifth-wheeler. Tsaka, ako nag-invite sa'yo tas iiwan kita? Nope.", he laughs. Uy ayaw ako iwan charot. "Why don't you join Janina and Claui?", he added. "Uh, ayaw ko din mag fifth wheel.", I said then bigla din akong natawa. "Edi.. Tayo nalang magsama.", he says with a smirk as he reaches his hand towards me to take, then I did. "Sure.", I said with a smile.

Huy, ang lambot ng kamay niya. Pinipilit ko na 'wag kiligin pero, asdfghjkl. hELP ME.

Donny

"Why don't you join Janina and Claui?", I asked. "Uh, ayaw ko din mag fifth wheel.", Sophie said then she laughed din, that cute laugh. "Edi.. Tayo nalang magsama.", I said with a smirk as I reached out my hand for her to take, then she did. "Sure.", I swear, I felt chills the moment our hands held.

We went around the place to look for a spot na pwede tambayan since it's crowded tsaka the music was so loud. But before we did that, we got ourselves some drinks. Ehem, hanggang iced tea or any flavored juice lang ako. I don't go for those liquors kasi bawal for varsity. As soon as I got my cup, nawala si Sophie sa tabi ko. I looked around, she wasn't there. I grabbed my phone then I saw a text coming from her saying, "Dude wru? Haha", I replied "In the crowd, the music's loud but I will find youuu" (disclaimer: lyrics from Bridgit Mendler's Ready or Not haha) then she replied "Hehe ayt, faster pls I feel uncomf huhu". I pocketed my phone after reading her reply then I immediately looked for her, and there she is, standing by the door that says "Pool Area", I gently made my way towards her kasi may mga nababangga ako, but before I went near her, she was talking to a guy.

"What brings you here, Magalona? Akala ko ba 'di mo type mga ganito. Hmm, are you gonna waste yourself tonight to forget about Sandoval?", ugh, Castillo. What the hell?

"Wala ka na bang masasabi about anything else besides Josh? Hmm, lalaki ka ba talaga? Ikaw ata may crush sa kanya eh. Kasi everytime na magkita tayo, siya lagi bukambibig mo.", Sophie spatted back. She was about to drink on her cup but then Miguel slapped the cup from her hand which spilled on her. "What the hell, Miguel?! Kilalanin mo muna kinakalaban mo! Walang hiya ka!", Sophie tried to push him away but Miguel had a tight grip on her wrists. "Lalaki ako, you want me to prove it?" Then Miguel was moving closer to Sophie's face, I tapped him on his shoulder and made him face me. "Do you know the words man up? 'Di mo ata alam eh."

Sophie

I texted Donny kasi he went missing, I was about to go by the pool side but then the mayabang giant stopped me. As always, the bukambibig bibig about Josh, tss. Siya ata may crush 'dun eh, wala ng ibang masabi kundi Josh. Ugh, nakakairita! Tinapon ba naman yung inumin ko sa akin?

"What the hell, Miguel?! Kilalanin mo muna kinakalaban mo! Walang hiya ka!", I tried to push him away but he had a tight grip on my wrists. "Lalaki ako, you want me to prove it?", then Miguel started moving closer to my face, Donny appeared then tapped him on his shoulder and made him face each other. "Do you know the words man up? 'Di mo ata alam eh."

Right after Donny said something, Miguel let go of me. I sighed as he released me then I saw Donny lying on the floor, holding his mouth, bleeding. "Donny! Oh my God.", I went to him then assisted him to stand up. "Perfect timing ka palagi noh, Pangilinan?", Miguel hissed. "Can you just leave? Ano ba kasi pake mo, ha?!", I said to Miguel, I was already mad. "That's what dickheads get kapag nakikisali.", Miguel laughs. "Oh, dickhead ba kamo?", I moved towards Miguel and kicked him there then he fell down. "Sino dickhead ngayon? Tawa ka pa diyan, weak ka din.", I said my last words to that higanteng mayabang, not giving a single f*ck to those who saw the incident.

As soon as Donny stood up, I immediately asked if we could go home. We started walking towards the door where we entered then nakasalubong namin sila Jaja, Claui, Hans, and Chris, who were staring at us. Oh, our hands didn't separate since I helped Donny to stand up.

"Why are your pants covered with liquid, Sophie? Donny, anunah? Bakit pumutok lalo mga labi mo?", Claui asked as she walked near us. "It's nothing, Claui. Uuwi na kami ni Sophie. Hans, Chris, kayo na bahala maghatid sa kanila ah? Una na kami.", Donny said as he scratched the back of his head with his free hand. "Let's go.", he looked at me and tried to smile with his bruised lips. Pero kahit nasuntok na siya't lahat, ang pogi niya pa din. :(
