Let go, let go

She was a ship standing on shore
With her strings tightly tied
Yet she faced the vast ocean
And watched every sunrise.

Ocean is all she always wanted to be
Full of mysteries and deep and blue
She wanted to explore all of it
Maybe there are many more horizons too?

And the ocean sends its waves
To wash her feet and whisper
Silently inviting her to come
Look for her hidden treasure.

And before she could hug them a hello
They danced back softly out of her hands
Reminding her of her lost and buried hopes
That were anchored with barren lands.

She silently watched her sunset
And she left her rusted anchor at the shore
For maybe she was safer at lands
But she wasn't meant to stand there anymore.

The moon shone a bit brighter that day
As she danced with the waves of the blue It's strong to keep holding on but sometimes
It's even stronger to let go let go let go.
