The Rain Juncture

He was a storm
Living in a town ;
Surrounded by dark clouds
Always pouring down.

It was filled with lonely people
But you will never know ;
Because those who might need you
Are the ones who will never show.

She was the spring
Living in a dried meadow ;
Surrounded by the clouds
That would never melt below.

It was filled with emptiness
Waiting for the clouds to rain ;
So she kept planting flowers
To build a delightful city again.

They lived just beside each other
But oh so far apart ;
Waiting for some miracle
To rip away the nature's heart

So she silently made her plan
To bring the longing to a halt ;
And teach him that this pain
Is actually no one's fault.

So she sprinted to his city
To bring back her rain;
To steal what was hers
And wash away the pain.

She thought the storm will calm down
For she has been told ;
That you'll feel the sun's warmth
If you've been once in cold.

But the storm has been growing
Until the final lightning struck ;
And it turned into a hurricane
Burning all the strings of trust

The storm now turned wild
Wanted everything to be dead ;
But she was the only one to stand
Silently holding her breath.

Slowly she began to suffocate
For she couldn't hold it for this long ;
And she couldn't let go either
For the town's not where she belongs.

She turned from a gloomy evening
To a tear strained night;
She realized what she was doing
Was just not right.

For you cannot always fix people
And expect them to fix you;
At least not when you're own soul
Is punctured into pieces too.

DEDICATION PART :-

This poem I would dedicate to cchinu because I've been following his poetry book lately and then I got into the zone of rhyming again. I've not been writing because of exams and all. This one was in my notes that I read yesterday and completed it after 2 months.

Also, it has been raining at my place for two days and I've fever because of the change in weather and slightly just slightly because I got drenched in rain for fun. So the point is I may update one or two more poems because I'm resting anyway so I might just read or write or both.

Take care everyone!
Don't have fun in rain.
It's not funny afterwards when you catch cold and have a headache.

Always Stay Safe.
Love,
Shivani :')
