With a creek, Basil opened the small door in the wall to reveal a human livingroom. The humans that occupied the house came into the room. They towered over you. You had been around humans your entire life but you were scared of them none the less. After they had gone Dawson, Basil and you walked into what looked like the office area.
Basil: Toby! Toby!
you: Uhh Mr Basil? You asked after scanning the room.
You: Is Toby a dog by any chance?
Before he could answer toby came bounding up to you with a big smile. Both of the boys looked at you with surprised looks on their faces.
Basil: How on earth did you know he was a dog?
you: Well ... the dog bole, leash and with dog hears all over the place it was an easy guess. You said stroking (petting) Toby's nose and giving him a cheese crumpet.
You saw the small blush creep onto Basil's face. After a moment he pushed Dawson towards Toby. Toby growled at him until basil hushed him.
Basil held out the bats hat for Toby to smell.
Basil: Toby, Toby I want you to find this fiend.
As soon as he got the sent of the bat he was off like shot. Leaving the three of you in the office. A couple of minutes later he came back I to the room with a sorry look on his face
