She was so surprised and happy. Usagi pulled him into a hug. "Oh, Mamo-chan! Of course! You didn't have to take me anywhere fancy though..." She said, looking towards the restaurant.

"I couldn't help but feel like doing it. I knew it had to be special, so... here we are." He motioned to the restaurant. Usagi smiled up at him and took him by the arm.

"Let's go! I'm hungry!" She declared. He chuckled lightly, and walked with her. She started to skip towards the restaurant happily before bumping into someone.

"Oh sorry! My mistake..." She quickly turned to apologize.

"Careful, Usako. You'll end up hurting others." Mamoru teased. She pouted while the person she bumped into turned.

"It's quite alright miss... S-Serenity..!" The male voice said. She looked at him.

"Oh no..." She quickly grabbed Mamoru by the arm and quickly dragged him towards the restaurant in a rush. He tried to speak but she kept pulling him.

"Hm... Serenity... I've found you again..." The man she ran into watched both of them as they rushed away. Smirking, he turned and walked into the parking lot and went to his car. This week just got interesting.

Usagi looked around in amazement at all the fancy gold decorations that surrounded them. She'd never been in such an elegant place without feeling highly uncomfortable because of her father, but now she knew she was okay to relax and actually enjoy the scenery.

As the waitress lead them to their table, she took the time to look at all the nicely embroidered tablecloths, clean plates with shiny silverware, and the romantic candle lighting.

It was as perfect as she dreamed, but only... she always thought she'd be on her first date here for an actual date that didn't have to be arranged just because she was betrothed to a man. Not that Endymion was that bad, but she had her doubts, both about herself and how this will play out for them both.

Would they really be happy? Or would this all end in disaster? Ehat would her father do to her if it did all go down the drain? She dreaded thinking about it. Even when he's far away, he's ruining her life.

"Usa." Mamoru patted her shoulder. She blinked before blushing and laughing nervously. He had pulled her chair out and let her sit before pushing her to the table. Then he sat across from her as the waitress set down their menus.

"I'll be back in a bit to know if you're ready to order." She smiled and walked off. Usagi was surprised that Mamoru was patient enough to deal with her spacing out. That usually got her a smack to the face.

"Sorry... I spaced out. Just thinkin...." She smiled back as he smiled at her.

"Don't worry about it. It's normal to be in your own little world. I also have more patience than most people." He remembered always meditating with his mother and after her death, he promised to continue that tradition.

"That's good. Patience doesn't run in my family..." Usagi looked down the menu. "These all look so good and... fancy... Eugh how does dad expect me to take over when I can't even talk fancy like you guys... all I can say is fancy and that I hardly know any little bit of etiquette..." Usagi sighed as she hit herself with the paper menu.

Mamoru chuckled. "Well, I could handle all that if you want." Usagi looked at him and smiled before her smile fell again.

"Nah... You'd be swamped with work and I don't want that for you. I really don't want this rich life at all. It sucks." Usagi propped her head on her hand and looked out the window. Mamoru could still see the bandage he put on her face yesterday.

The waitress came and took their orders. They had chatted about how boring life could get with mutual interest until their food came. They ate in silence mostly, aside from Usagi taking from time to time.

Once they finished, they paid and left. Mamoru suggested a nice walk through the park, to which Usagi complied as she grabbed onto his arm and practically dragged him to the park.

"The park is always beautiful at night..." He heard her say.

"I must agree. I like the nice dark shades the night tends to provide for us." Mamoru pointed out and he saw Usagi nod in agreement.

"You know, you never expressed your feelings about this whole... situation." She didn't want to say problem because he felt that that word might insult him. "Do you have an opinion on it...?"

He sighed. "Well, it's not the greatest thing since, I assume, it's better to naturally love someone than to force them together just for the means of wealth. After my dad married the witch, I just thought I'd maybe run away with the woman I loved. Then he died, so now I have to stay..." Usagi looked to the man to her right. He had a solemn look in his eyes.

"I... I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you in any way, Endy...." She gripped his left arm with both of hers.

"It's.... fine. I don't really care that much anymore. All that matters is getting the business out of that witch's hands. I won't let her ruin what my dad worked hard to build." He had the memories of how his father had always protected him from things Beryl would try to do. It reminded him of Usagi then, and he looked down to see the bandage covering her cheek again, as if he expected it to disappear. "Does it still hurt?"

"Huh? Oh...." She touched the bandage. "Not that much no... unless I hit it...? Maybe... I am a bit of a klutz, so I could fall and hurt myself." She giggled to herself. He smiled.

They continued their walk chatting about nature and their favorite aspects of it until they arrived back at the parking lot to get into Mamoru's car.

They got in and drive for a while before reaching the new home. Usagi took the opportunity to just throw herself on the big bed she and Mamoru had to share.

"That was one of the best nights of my life... I'm sure I'll always have that one good memory to fall back on." She smiled at him as he looked to her on the bed. He chuckled at her form being spread over a small space of the bed.

He never actually noticed how much he towered over her petite figure until now.

They both got changed into their pajamas, finished up any thing they needed to do in the bathroom, and got into bed. Both willingly put their arms around each other.

"Good night, Endymion.. Mamo-chan." Usagi said. "Same to you, Serenity. Usa." He kissed her forehead.

They then both fell into a deep sleep in each other's arms, feeling content with their relationship.
