I heard water dropping near me.And then it stopped.

The feeling of deafness suddenly became dominant until I heard hushed voices but then it was gone, replaced by an unusual ringing inside my ears. It felt like my ear drums are going to explode, if ever I still have one (feeling deaf and all).
