"Yeah, our first date, girl, the seasons changed. It got washed away in a summer rain. You can't undo a fall like this, 'Cause love don't know what distance is. Yeah, I know it's crazy." -Hunter Hayes, I Want Crazy

I slide the door to Nutter Butter's stall open and step inside. Closing it behind me, as I walk over to where he stands blinking his big brown eyes slowly. "Hey, there boy. Hows my handsome buddy?" I scratch behind his ears and smile as he drops his head, and closes his eyes. "You wonna go out for a ride Nutty? We can be back for breakfast I promise, you'll get your food." I stroke his mane with my fingers pulling at the small bits of grass and hay stuck in the thick strands. Reaching through the doors opening I grab the lead rope and drape it over his neck. "Alright, come on buddy." I slide the door open and walk out, Nutty following me and nuzzling my shoulder. I smile and stop next to the tack room, I let go of the rope and quickly walk in grabbing a bridle and turn back to where he stands nosing the pile of dirty blankets. "What are you doing you goof?" I ask flipping the blankets up carefully, only to find Logans cat curled up inside of the pile. I stare at the kitten for a moment before returning my attention to my horse. I slide the bridle over his head and toss the rope to the floor. I lead him down the isle way and out the back doors towards the back pastures. Stopping by the fence I loop the reigns over his neck and use the fence to get on his back. I squeeze my legs pushing him into a slow jog as we ride towards the treeline.
An hour later we make our way back to the barn were I slide off of Nutty's back and release him into the pasture where Sparrow is already munching on hay. I walk into the barn hanging up his bridle and grab two apples. I cluck my tongue alerting the two horses of my presence, and laugh as the race each other over to me. I hold out an apple for both of them and let them crunch the treat, as I head back into the house. I smile as I swing open the door and hear Jenna's little voice singing random words and notes. Following the sound I find her sitting in the middle of the hallway upstairs in front of Owens room, I raise my eyebrows hearing the sounds of the shower and stop next to her. "Hey there little missy. How did you get out here?" I reach my hand down and wait until she has her tiny hand wrapped around my fingers before walking towards the newly converted office to play room.
She grins up at me showing her four little teeth and giggles. "I cwimbed out. Awl on mine own." I shake my head at the butchered english and make since of what she told me.
"You got out of that big bed all on your own? Oh my goodness you must be so strong." I tickle her arms and belly earning a happy smile and belly laugh. "Maybe we should tell your daddy he needs to get a different bed." She sticks out her bottom lip and makes her eyes go wide.
"Me wike my bed, I din't cwimb out not weally Logy hewp me. He tol me to fin him but he hide to good." She says with a wobbly lip, "Me no finded Logy. Baywor hewp me fin Logy now?" I nod down at her and take her hand again.
A minute later I hear Logan's voice, "Jenna where are you? You are supposed to find me."
"I come fin you! You shush me wona fin you so me can pway wit kitty." She lets go of my fingers and toddles down the hallway stopping at random doors and calling Logans name. Owen's door swings open as Jenna waddles into my room on the hunt for the missing Logan. I walk over and stand against his door frame grinning as she starts stomping down the hallway back towards the play room. "LOGY! I NO FIN YOU. ME HUNGWY AN WAN KITTY!" She squeals crossing her arms and flopping onto the floor.
"So this is interesting. What did I miss? I went to take a shower while she was still asleep and come out fifteen minutes later to a pouting and squealing kid wanting her friend and his cat."
I laugh turning back towards him and stretching up to kiss his cheek. "I'm not so sure myself. I came back in from my ride to see the horses turned out and came inside to Jenna sitting in front of your door. She tried to tell me she got out of bed all on her own, until she remembered Logan helped her and was hiding."
