After this incident days passed in a haze. Ravi took transfer to Mumbai and she had to quit her job. Packing moving and settling down in the new city consumed most of her time.
She hoped that in the city of dreams her dream of receiving her
husband's love and affection will also come true. Time moved on its own pace and a peace settled between her and Ravi.
To any outsider they were the perfect happy family and she tried to forget everything and move on.
Years passed and Ravi
proved himself to be a wonderful father and a dutiful husband, but she still ached for his love.
She had made peace with her past and things seemed to be going fine until that fateful day when Ravi had to go on a business trip to Bangalore.
