It had been a few years since Yoongi and Jimin had set eyes on one another, the once mint haired boy had fled off to another country in that time since his mother had gotten a job in the city of dreams, better known as New York. You can imagine how much of a relief it was for him to have been able to flee his feelings, they hadn't talked much since. Yoongi felt it was time to move on, and for a time he had... until he had to embark on a trip back to the place with his family.

That's right, back to South Korea they went.

But this time, Yoongi was determined not to repeat the previous experience he had with his former best friend, he wanted to show him how over him he was, how strong he had become without him being there to watch... how strong he was now that he didn't have feelings for him.

One could wonder how long he could keep this act up for, the diary he kept with all the thoughts he couldn't say to Jimin out loud, he carried it with him everywhere in the comfort of his cellphone. No one could dare find out how desperately he fell for someone so stupid and dense. And in some ways, maybe Yoongi still looked at his picture and teared up at the memories he'd shoved to the back of his mind. Maybe he still thought about him frequently and hugged himself to pretend it was Jimin holding him against his chest...

Maybe he was in denial again... maybe in the back of his mind, he still loved him with every drop of desperation he had stored in his body...
