"What?" I whispered into his hair, not believing what had just come out of his mouth.
WHAT?!
"I asked, do you like me?" He pulled his head away from me and turned to look me straight in the eye.
"What?"
"Do you like me?!" He asked again, impatiently. But I was still trying to process the question in my head somehow.
"What?"
"Are you really going to make me ask again?" I stared at him, mouth agape as he looked into my eyes with desperate curiosity. After a few seconds of silence, he broke it all... with one single sentence he made my heart flutter and break altogether...
"Fine." He scoffed. "I'll go first, I like you..."
