Into Your Icy Blues (Gerard Way/My Chemical Romance)

Chapter 22. Telling the truth.

I laughed softly looking back up at Gerard. He just kept looking at me till everyone was out of ear shot.

"Lizzy, I love you." He looked as though he was about to cry.

"I know and..." I tried to look away but he brought his hands up and made me look at him. "You know I love you." Every part of me did and at that moment the look in his eyes said it all.  He wanted no one else.

"Lets go to bed." He said removing his hands from my face.

"Let me go take some medicine for the pain I will be right up." I stayed calm as a huge cramp hit me and I felt like doubling over. I walked slowly to the kitchen as I heard him go up stairs. I let out a harsh breath while bending forward grabbing my lower stomach. I quickly took medicine after the pain subsided and went up to my room. Gerard was there finishing making the bed he looked up and smiled.

"Shut the door please." He said softly and I did as he asked. He walked over to me gently taking my hand and walking me to the end of the bed. His hands went to the hem of my night gown and went to lift it up.

"We can't do anything." I went to stop him thinking even if we could I didn't want him to see my legs.

"I wasn't planning on it." He said softly and proceeded to try and lift my night gown. I put my hand on his wrists.

"Please don't." I pleaded.

"Lizzy some how this night gown is coming off even if I have to cut it off you." The look in his eyes were serious.

I took my hands off him shutting my eyes as he lifted the gown. There was silence for a long time till I felt his shaky hands run across my abdomen. I opened my eyes looking at him and all he did was stare at my stomach as I saw a few tears fall down his cheeks. He slowly turned me around and I felt his hands trail across my back giving me goose bumps. "Please tell me what happened." His voice was so soft but I heard an edge of anger.

"I told you Gerard I fell down a flight of stairs." I said as I turned to face him.

"Liz come on. Look at your arms." He pointed to the finger print like marks. "These do not come form falling." He placed his hands on each spot lining up with his fingers almost perfectly. "What the hell did he do to you and how long has it been happening?" There was nothing but hurt in his voice it almost made me start to cry. He paced away from me seeming frustrated.

"Gerard please I'm fine. Everything is fine now." He turned back to me his face full of anger.

"You're Fine, Really Liz. Bruises All Over Your Body But You Are Fine!" He was actually yelling at me and I don't think I could have been more shocked. "We Lost Our Baby, He Did Something To You, To The Baby. What Happened." He was now right in front of me and I was frozen in place not by fear of him but of how upset he was. I had never seen him like this and seeing the tears that streamed down his face broke me. I threw my arms around his neck and began to cry.

"I'm sorry, Im so sorry. Its my fault I shouldn't of went with him. I thought he would change. I never thought he would ever lay his hands on me. Gerard I'm so sorry please forgive me." Some how we ended up on the floor Gerard hushing me as he rocked us back and forth.

"None of this is you fault sugar." Hearing those words I finally looked up at him, he had dried tears on his face and his hazel eyes were glassy.

"I can't tell you what happened right now, but I promise you some day I will. I don't want cops involved that would just bring Ray and Christa into this." I spoke so calmly but I could read his face that he had a come back.

"If he's the reason we lost our baby cops need to be involved. So what if Ray and Christa find out. You have a month to your birthday. I love you and I don't care who knows. Frankly I'm pissed I ever listened to you in the first place...." I put my finger over his lips he was begining to get heated again. I put my hands on either side of his face making sure we had eye contacted.
