Do I start in the beginning? Which beginning? When I first met my second wife? When I met my first wife? I need to pause to say... never did I ever think I would be that Dad, the one on his second wife. I thought marriage was one and done even when I knew early on that my first marriage would not be how I imagined, I felt it was destined to fail, early on I knew she was not my soulmate, I felt trapped by life. You know what I mean, you date for a period of time then she pressures you for a ring, and well you said you love her right? And well...whats next? Marriage of course, everyone keeps asking, when's the big day so she runs with it, one of your best friend gets engaged and now the pressures really on... now the whirlwind starts... she picks out a ring, way more than you can afford but that doesnt matter your in love and this is what she wants so you just go along for the ride screaming silently...
