The bell had just rang, signaling that it's lunch time. I grabbed my text books and walked down the hallway to place them back in my locker. As I walk to my locker, I look around and smile at all the familiar faces I see. There was Jess and Justin doing couple things around by their lockers. Then there's Clay and Hannah probably talking about Cresmont this and that. I got a little bit distracted as I was looking around and I bumped into a tall muscular person. Looking up I see Jeff Atkins, school senior hottie and the one of the finest baseball players in town. " Hey sorry bout that" he says in his deep yet soothing voice. "No its all good" I reply trying to sound as chill as possible. He smiles at me and then walks away making me feel disappointed about all the scenarios I had just thought about in my head.
What if he had asked for my number
What if he asked for my name and then we went out on a date
The possibilities were endless, but what made my heart shatter was the fact that I was still a nobody in his life.
